Not just a cool name the Stanton Warriors are Dominic Butler and Mike Yardley. They are originally from Bristol, where they often performed on the underground party scene before making it big. Their sound is a unique hybrid of nu skool breaks, 2 step garage and electro. The Stantons have showed great skill in all three disciplines of DJing, writing tunes and remixing. Not many other acts in their field can lay claim to such boasts. Their original 'Stanton Sessions' mix released in 2001 was a lesson to any aspiring DJ on how to craft a set together. They have remixed many big dance acts such as Basement Jaxx, Timo Maas and Layo & Bushwacka! Visit their website and listen to the collage of tunes playing in the background. Fantastic!
